Nominatie EMA-Awards 2020-2021

De European Museum Academy heeft het Comenius Museum genomineerd voor de EMA-Awards 2020-2021. In haar rapport spreekt de jury lovende woorden over de nieuwe tentoonstelling Mundus Comenii die voorbereid en gerealiseerd is in nauwe samenwerking ons Tsjechisch partnermuseum Jan Amos Comenius in Uherský Brod, en gefinancierd door het Tsjechische Ministerie van Cultuur.

De jury schrijft in haar rapport onder meer: “The Museum is considered an initiator of public debates on education and pedagogical issues. The judges said the Museum and Mausoleum could be considered a model for the way it praises a cultural and scientific personality of the 17th century, with a true European profile, consistent with the values praised today. It is also a model of co-operation in the cultural field of two European nations.”
